Fall Decorating Tips That Only Take an Hour
Are you wanting to decorate your home this
fall? Here are some helpful tips to decorate in an hour. When you go to pick
out pumpkins for carving jack-o-lanterns, grab a couple extra for inside your
house. Pick up some paint on the way home if you want to be more creative with
your pumpkins.
The kitchen:
· Accessorizing your kitchen is always a good
idea, whether that’s with a basket full of fruit, flowers, candles, etc. During
fall, you can switch out your counter pieces with pumpkins and a bowl of
pinecones.
· Another area in the kitchen you can make
more festive is where you keep your coffee mugs and teacups. Swapping these out
with copper mugs will set the tone for fall.
The dining table:
· Do you have friends and family over for
football games or is it your turn to host Thanksgiving this year? Having a
centerpiece for your formal dining room is a must. Keep it simple by having a
couple pumpkins and candles around a vase of flowers.
· Another way to spruce up your table is
getting fall napkins or placing a pinecone on each napkin.
The living room:
· Many living rooms have a fireplace. Take
advantage of this focal point and dress up your mantel with a seasonal banner. Add some tasteful details with candles, pumpkins, and fake leaves.
· Drape cozy throws over your couches with comfy pillows. Choose rich and warm colors to add to the seasonal flair.
These easy decorating tips will make your
home feel calm and cozy during the holiday season.
It’s not necessary to decorate rooms that you don’t use as often. Choose three areas in your home where you get the most use and add some seasonal accents. Friends and family will feel warm and comfortable in your home with these simple touches.
